Introducing the East Riding Archives Blog …
In these times of lockdown it’s important now, more than ever, that we bring you online content based on our amazing documentary heritage collections while we await the day when we can welcome you back into our home at the Treasure House in Beverley, East Yorkshire.
Even though it’s not physically possible for you to explore our original materials at the moment, you can still have some fun with our stories and activities, all based around information found in the archives, and in the coming weeks we’ll be uploading regular blog posts about the work we do, right here on this page.
To stay right up-to-date with what’s going on though, you should join our mailing list and Get The Newsletter , where you’ll receive a quarterly e-bulletin of news and interesting features from the service.
You may want to browse through one of our quirky Stories, cook and bake your way through our historic Recipes, or tease your brain with 18th Century Maths or old handwriting Wordsearches !
In the coming weeks, we’ll also be making updates to our content to help keep you occupied, and to find out more about East Riding Archives, visit our website:
