From Saturday 23rd September 2023 at 4pm the Treasure House, Beverley, home to the East Riding Archives Service will be closed to all visitors. The Archives research room will be closed to visitors until alterations have been completed, which could be up to a year. The collections strongrooms will be unaffected by the building works and staff will have access to records to process enquiries, continue cataloguing and conservation work.

Our enquiries service will be open, as usual, via email, phone and post. The archives team will be available for:
- research enquiries
- document photocopying and scanning service
- enquiries regarding depositing or donating records
- requests for talks, workshops and events
